The museum uses sound, light, electricity, images, and exhibits to illustrate the history and impact of PE, the evolution of funds and securities in China, as well as other knowledge about funds so as to expand public's horizons and their wealth management capacity. The Rising of Suzhou Fund Industry, the first theme exhibition at the Museum centers on SIP rail transit and explores the close relationship between fund and city.

Located on the second floor of Ligongdi phase-3 complex, Chinese Museum of Funds is the second public museum engaged in professional finance education subordinated to Chinese Museum of Finance. Its phase-1 facility covers a floor area of 2,300 square meters.
